Houston, Texas – July 21, 2026 – Red Owl Boxing today announced four new fights for its ‘Boxfest XIX” championship professional boxing event at El Paso Coliseum in El Paso, Texas on Friday, Aug. 7, live on DAZN, at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT.
Prior to the main card’s live stream on DAZN, the preliminary bout card will stream live on Red Owl Boxing’s YouTube channel, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. MT.
The promotion also announced that, due to an injury, undefeated “Poison” Ivy Enriquez, who had been scheduled to compete in the show’s co-main event against Perla “La Princesa” Lomeli, has withdrawn from the fight.
As a result of Enriquez being scratched from the card, the previously announced featherweight (126 pounds) matchup between Emmanuel “El Chingón” Carrillo, Jr. (6-0, 3 KO’s) of Wichita Falls, Texas by way of Las Cruces, N.M. and Kenneth “The Problem Child” Taylor (15-6-2, 6 KO’s) of Tyler, Texas will serve as the new ‘Boxfest XIX’ co-main event, while the previously announced super flyweight (115 pounds) contest between Christina “The Hell’s Kitchen Kid” Cruz (6-1) of New York, N.Y. and Brandi “The Babydoll” Montoya (6-2) of Albuquerque, N.M. has been elevated to the first fight on the Red Owl Boxing main card.
In the main event, world-ranked Emanuel “El Trompo” Moreno (13-0, 3 KO’s) of Wichita Falls, Texas will battle it out with slick competitor Guillermo “GMO” Gutierrez (13-3, 1 KO) of San Antonio, Texas for Moreno’s World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Americas bantamweight (118 pounds) championship at stake.
In a featured women’s super welterweight (154 pounds) contest, it was announced today that Ariana Carrasco (1-0, 1 KO) of Las Cruces will take on Chanisse “The Lioness” Jenner (0-0) of Ashford, Kent, U.K.
Additional matchups announced today were a welterweight (147 pounds) clash between knockout artist Devon “El Perro Negro” Garcia (4-0, 4 KO’s) of Las Cruces and Patrick Harris (1-6, 1 KO) of Killeen, Texas, and a middleweight (160 pounds) collision between undefeated Cahir “The Gale” Gormley (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Scranton, Pa. via Derry, Ireland and Jerome Lloyd (0-1) of Waco, Texas via Trenton, N.J.
Lloyd had been previously slated to face El Paso’s Hector “El Toro” Morales, who has pulled out of the fight.
Another junior middleweight affair announced today was a meeting between Gabriel Rodriguez (4-2) of El Paso and Quintel Brooks (2-2) of Smock, Pa.
The first bout on the Red Owl Boxing main card will feature Adrian Salazar (1-0) of Tyler against an opponent to be announced soon, at welterweight.
As previously announced, Ayanna “La Asesina” Vasquez (7-2-1, 1 KO) of Las Cruces will face Maria “Polvorita” Salinas (27-15-6, 7 KO’s) at featherweight.
