LOS ANGELES, CA – October 10, 2025 – Red Owl Boxing returns with the sixteenth installment of its acclaimed BOXFEST series on Friday, October 10, delivering a night of high-stakes, world-class boxing action live from the Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The event will stream live and exclusively on DAZN to more than 200 global territories, with the main card set to begin at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
In the evening’s main event, Deonte Brown (16-0, 11 KOs) will face Grimardi Muchuca (12-1, 9 KOs) in a ten-round contest for the vacant WBA Continental Americas Super Featherweight Title. Brown, one of boxing’s most promising rising stars, aims to capture his first regional championship and continue his undefeated streak. Muchuca, a proven finisher, looks to derail Brown’s momentum and claim the belt in his U.S. debut.
The co-main event will feature Los Angeles favorite Saul “The Beast” Sanchez (20-3, 12 KOs) in an eight-round bantamweight clash against seasoned opponent Edwin Rodriguez (12-7, 6 KOs). Sanchez, fighting in front of his hometown fans, seeks to make a statement performance as he begins his march back into world title contention.
Rounding out the televised portion of the card, 2016 U.S. Olympian Rashida Ellis makes her professional debut against Mexico’s Maria Salinas (3-2, 1 KO) in a four-round lightweight bout. Ellis, who represented Team USA on the international stage, now turns her focus to the pro ranks, where she looks to begin her campaign toward world honours.
