OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN RESULTS AND FINAL CARD FOR BOXFEST XVI AT COMMERCE C

LOS ANGELES, CA – October 10, 2025 – The stage is officially set for Red Owl Boxing’s BOXFEST XVI, which takes place tomorrow, Friday, October 10, live from the Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The event will stream live and exclusively on DAZN to more than 200 territories worldwide beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT.

All fighters successfully made weight at Thursday’s official weigh-in, clearing the way for an action-packed night featuring championship implications, high-stakes rematches, and several can’t-miss debuts.

MAIN EVENT – WBA CONTINENTAL AMERICAS SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE

Deonte “Lay Em Down” Brown (16-0, 11 KOs) – 129.8 lbs

Grimardi Machuca (17-2, 14 KOs) – 130 lbs

In the headline attraction, unbeaten standout Deonte Brown of Morgan City, Louisiana, collides with Grimardi Machuca of Camden, New Jersey, for the vacant WBA Continental Americas Super Featherweight Championship. Both known for their knockout power, Brown and Machuca are expected to deliver a high-voltage clash that could define the division’s next rising star.
